Hot and Spicy - Just Magnolia Challenge
Hello everyone - I am so excited about this blog - you have no idea! - it is really motivating me to make cards and the challenges are just what I need. Today I am playing along with the Just Magnolia Friday Challenge - Hot and Spicy. This is only my second ever challenge but I love that they do challenge my creativity and also help me to ink up some of my older stamps that I may not ever use anymore. I thought for a moment or two and remembered my swimsuit Tilda (it has been a very long time since she has seen ink). I combined some of my new Basic Grey paper and voila!! - I hope I have interpreted "hot and spicy" with the makings of this card. I used the Magnolia Bridge Deck (what she is sitting on) and added a few Magnolia butterflies and sentiment. The water is punched using Stampin Up ovals and then I added Tim Holtz faded jeans to deepen the blue - I also did the same with the background blue of the sentiment. I free hand cut out the side (weeds) and added a few small flowers and curled some wire for a final touch. The copics I used were ROOO, ROO, RO2, YOO, YO8, Y11, Y14, Y21, Y26. I just want to thank you so much for stopping by and visiting my blog - I really do appreciate it and your comments so far have been so wonderful - thank-you! This is turning out to be a very good journey so far!

Penny Black Challenge 103 In The Garden
Hello - My very first challenge and the start to many more! The Penny Black saturday challenge is themed "In the Garden" so I found this Penny Black sentiment and added a small hedgehog to compliment the saying. Pink and greens are some of my favorite color combos - so I was happy with how this turned out. I used my oval nesties and some quickutz flowers. The copics I used were E40, E41, E42, E43, R20, E31 and E35. The bigger butterflies are actually from an old Stampin Up set. I haven't used my flower soft in such a long time and this basket of flowers was just calling for it. I finished this card off adding some small white pearls. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by to check out my card.

Ruffles isn't Well
Hello everyone!!
I am very excited to be opening my very own blog. My first post is a card I recently made with a new stamp by Helz Cuppleditch. I love anything with "cute" doggies so naturally I had to have this stamp. This card kind of explains how I felt this past long weekend. The weather was cold and windy and I was not feeling well. Thankfully I am better now but the weather is still not nice. Anyhow about this card I used paper by Basic Grey called the Max & Whiskers collection. I purchased a package and WOW I just love the designs on this paper! As I am new to this blogging world I did not keep track of the copic colors I used but I will definately remember to do that for future posts. Thank you so much for stopping by and spending a bit of your time on my blog.
Debbie
